Before the QVB went up in the 1890s, the site was occupied by the Queen Victoria Markets on the north (left) side, and the Central Court on the south.

Sydneytecture is about old photos of Sydney now in full, realised colour. I also geolocate old mystery photos.

I wanted to see how real life would look to our ancestors in these old faded, black & white photos. So more than just colouring, I work to make each photo as realistic as if it was taken by a modern camera. And for archival purposes, I ensure each is accurate to the original.
