The west side of the Quay, in Pitt Street looking south past the Commissariat at right, and east in the pic below. Two small pictures I think are very illustrative of how hand-made and hand-done life was before mass production. I have no more information about the photos beyond the title.

Sydneytecture is about old photos of Sydney then and now in fully realised colour, focusing on once-well known places that have been forgotten. I also geolocate old mystery photos.

I wanted to see how life would really look to our ancestors in these faded black & white photos. Just colourising the old-tech wasn't enough for me, so I work to make each photo as realistic as if it was taken by a modern camera. And for historians' archival purposes, I ensure each is accurate to the original.

And now I share them here with you.
